This is the day that the Lord has made, we are to rejoice and be glad in it!
We have
had a very busy couple of weeks, for which we are thankful! Saturday April 19th we were ministering with our friends
over at The Aroma Coffee House right here in Battle Creek. We always enjoy being able to go there and they treat us
like family! They have gospel music over at the coffee house each Saturday night at 7:00pm. If you find yourself
in the area stop on in and enjoy a great evening of coffee and music. With a combination like that you can'tgo wrong!
If you would please add Silas Geske to your prayer list. Silas is Pastor Kory and Jackie's youngerst son.
He is going in for surgery today and will require a feeding tube for a few months. I know that they would appreciate
your prayers so very much. We certainly do serve a God who loves us, listens to us, and shows us great things everyday
(Jeremiah 33:3)!
This last Sunday night we were ministering in concert at Whitneyville Bible Church in Whitneyville,
which is up near Caledonia MI. Karen and I lived just a few miles down the road from there when we were first married
so it was almost like going home for us. The church family there was wonderful and I even met a man who knew my grandparents
quite a while back. It is always good to see old friends and make new ones as well. Our good friends Patrick and
Jill Ward made the drive from Battle Creek to be with us for the evening--which was a pleasant surprise!! Tuesday night
I get to run sound for Patrick as he ministers in concert at the VA Medical Center here in Battle Creek.
Our next
concert will be on May 10th at Chapel In The Pines over in Hudsonville MI. There is a special place in our hearts for
Chapel In The Pines. It was while Karen and I were camping there severl years ago that we were able to take the time
to get our music ministry up and off of the ground, and we haven't looked back since! God has been filling our schedule
and we are thankful for that! We always look forward to being there!
We are booking now for 2008 and 2009. If we can be of any help to you as we minister please let us know!
